Seeing Zuccarello win another shootout makes me wish the Rangers had him last year so we wouldn't have had to deal with the Flyers in the playoffs. Man that kid has some moves.

Man, Wisniewski hit in the face with a puck and done for the night. The Canadiens are without Markov, Gorges, Gill, Spacek, and now Wiz.

The latest on the Kaberle deal with Boston is Colborne and the B's own 1st. Ouch. That's a pretty steep price.

Avs traded Anderson to Ottawa for Elliott.

Kaberle to Boston along with Toronto's 2nd round pick for Colborne Boston's 1st Round and a Conditional Draft Pick (Should Kabs resign with Boston).

Woohoo!!! We got Colin's better brother! :D

And dumped Valabik. Having his ankle broken twice, and having EVERY AHL player hack at it really set back his progress.

As much as toronto has been a laughing stock, they seem to be putting together some promising young talent. Maybe in a couple years they won't suck.

So Peverley was a 20 goal scorer last year. That a fluke or is he a solid player? Decent replacement for Wheeler?

He had a decent run for sure. He was picked up off of waivers from Nashville by Atlanta. Both players from Atlanta in that deal have been on waivers.

Yeah I saw that. I just haven't seen much of Peverley, and he's a relatively young player, so I'm hoping he turns out to be decent with better talent around him.

Well, he's going form a top 6 role in Atlanta to a 3rd line role in Boston...not sure if the talent he'll be around will be better or not. He might be lining up with Chris Kelly and Michael Ryder, so....

He was a 3rd/4th line center in Nashville, but never worked out so they waived him a few years ago to send him back to Milwaukee. Atlanta picked him up because he could fit in to their top six right away (a use for his talents). The 20 goals came from his teammates, the A-K-47 line. (Antropov or Afinogenov, Kovalchuk, Peverley)

Nashville has a way of signing 2nd/3rd line scoring guys, and shoehorning them into Nashville's 3rd/4th lines which are grinder/muck lines.

IF Boston's third line is "energy/scoring," Peverley will find his way to it.

Right. I don't see him cracking their top 6 (Lucic-Krecji-Horton Marchand-Bergeron-Recchi), so I'm not sure that he's going to be playing with better talent in Boston than he was in Atlanta.

Now the B's should send Ryder and Toronto's pick to Dallas for Richards. ;) :p

Id also assume we will see Wheeler traded for Cap space. Last I heard Boston was talking with Chicago

That was the pun :)

and sure enough, moments later his trade gets announced. lmao.
