Re: 2010-2011 DIII commitment thread

I see Elmira bled out another recruit today as well as University of St. Thomas annouced it's incoming class from Minnesota.

This is what I am referring to

Like I said...what do I know. Regardless this is a positive step for Chatham and their athletics program. Thanks for posting.

Ironicaly I just ran into the father of a Chatham player at Starbucks this a.m. and he confirms that the coach selection is shortlisted to three (3)...advises that an announcement is pending and expected shortly.

But what does he know...:)

Re: 2010-2011 DIII commitment thread

there needs to be a correction made on the school destination for two Washington Pride players:

Rose Bernheim (G) is not going to Middlebury, she is attending Norwich.
Haena Lee (F) is not attending Middlebury, she is attending Williams.

There was some misinformation posted and neither player was ever headed to Middlebury as per a private message from one of the parents.

That's what is on the JWHL site as well. Not Middlebury

I will e-mail the Midd coach as both of these players have been moved around several times already.

Financial aid probably came into play, or lack thereof.

according to the father of one of the players, both of these players never committed to Middlebury and have been set on their schools that I listed since before January

It would be interesting to find out who put these women as going to Middlebury on Beyond the Dashers, because the coaches certainly don't do that????? at least not at Middlebury.

Re: 2010-2011 DIII commitment thread

It probably didn't come from the coach. Assabet is showing 2 girls going to both Middlebury and Amherst. BTD has only 2 of the girls included. One for Middlebury and one for Amherst. I think if the coaches were providing the names, all 4 would be submitted.

These Assabet girls must be a bright bunch. They also have 3 headed to Harvard, 1 to Princeton and Brown
