2010-11 schedules

Re: 2010-11 schedules

I probable have attended at least 10 games at Rutland Ice Arena, talked to a number of Castleton players and fans and never had problems. Of course I think that guy in the Spartan helmet at games is ridiculous.

And I have attended one...It wasn't fun...I really didn't fear for my safety just the safety of some of the so called student workers...:) ...I actually can't wait to go back...I won't hold my tongue this time...I can't wait for CSC's visit to Maine this year...Now that should be fun!!!!

So, no tournaments for Potsdam this year. And I see they got Manhattanville back on their schedule for a weekend set.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

One thing sticks out......yet again....we have to face Morrisville the first night on both occasions for the 3rd year in a row! Why does every other SUNYAC team alternate this match up?

Re: 2010-11 schedules

Hopefully I can make it to the December 11th game in Cortland and make a stop at A&W for the first time in five years again!

I won't be going to any games in Cortland for a while. Let's just say stopping in Cortland on your way to Ithaca, wearing an Ithaca College hoodie, on the weekend of the Cortland-Ithaca football game weekend... led to some very interesting interactions with local townspeople and students, and I'd rather not be recognized by anyone involved ;)

Smooth move! haha

You could always go Incognito. ;)

Re: 2010-11 schedules

For the record, I have never been to a Siena Basketball game, and I don't plan to anytime soon.

On the topic of schedules, I was just noting a couple things about Plattsburgh's schedule:

-The first round games of the Cardinal Classic (the Friday games) are at 1pm and 4pm, instead of the usual 4 and 7. Is this because it is on New Year's Eve, or some other reason?

-The Elmira game is at 7pm. Last year's game at the domes was at 4pm. The stated reason was concern for the travelling team, since the journey is a significant one for a single game, and the indications were that the same would be done. If concern was given for Plattsburgh, who still had a good 3 weeks before resuming classes, certainly that same concern ought to be given to Elmira, who resumes classes for Winter term (Elmira runs on a quasi-trimester system) only days later (and has a home game against Fredonia 3 days after the Plattsburgh game). Then again, we all know that Emery is looking for an end to the series with Elmira (but will never end it on a Plattsburgh host year)... maybe this is his way to do force the issue :p

But in all seriousness, I would have expected Elmira to be an earlier game, not the Cardinal Classic.

What a surprise:rolleyes:

Seems like every year Elmira goes out of their way to try and please Plattsburgh to keep this great series going but the same courtesy can't be returned on the flip side?

Not that Elmira draws a boatload of people to begin with anymore but they obviously had their attendance numbers hurt moving from their regular start time of 7pm up to 4pm on a Saturday.
