2010-11 schedules

Re: 2010-11 schedules

Well you better post it ASAP or I'm going to start calling athletic departments asking about it. Not because I really want to know, but rather....only because I'm ****ed off I can't figure anything out for myself.
That's not how this works.

One of the more useful Links posted on this page in a few months. Though, I'm still not sure he's real. If he is, please provide proof that he rescued Zelda from the evil grips of Ganon.
Here's a test for you to see if he's real.

Go use his image as your own. I mean, no one would have issues of an imaginary character being used, right? We'll see if Nintendo thinks he's real.

Kind of in the same vein as "if you think no one cares if you're alive or not, try missing a few payments and see if anyone cares".

Eyore: Oh... no one cares about me. Sorry for getting in your way... :(

Iiii'm sorrrry. I know we were up by one and shorthanded in the last minute but I really didn't mean to shoot the puck into the scoreboard to set up a faceoff in our own zone, Pooh. Iiii'm sorrrry, I didn't mean to back down when a 5'8" kid from Eau Claire chirped me....no bother, Pooh. I'm sorry.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

I will NOT be surprise to see a box score that says Ritter Arena, with Plattsburgh as a competitor. (nope, not going out to Mn for this one guys... sorry!)

I want to start an over/under pool on how many times this is going to get screwed up from now till March. So far, I've seen it screwed up in just about every post concerning this subject.

It's RiDDer. NOT RiTTer.

Ritter is RIT's rink. Ridder is UMinn women's rink.

The former is where Plattsburgh won their last national championship.

The latter is where they might win their next one in 2011.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

Well, what is known so far for Plattsburgh is:

@ Geneseo State on 10/29/10
@ Brockport State on 10/30/10
vs Geneseo State on 1/21/11
vs Brockport State on 1/22/11

The fact that you know when Plattsburgh is playing Geneseo and Brockport tells me you either happened to hear those dates by random, or you saw a Geneseo and/or Brockport schedule. If the latter, I couldn't find anything.

So, where's your scoop coming from?

Honestly, I was copying someone else's Facebook post. However, I didn't have to go any further than my first google result before finding this:

Obviously, using the travel partner process, once can determine from that all of Geneseo's SUNYAC games.

Before Morrisville, once you knew one team's schedule, you essentially knew the entire conference schedule except who was home and away and which order on the weekend they played each other.

Looking at this schedule again, I notice the Brockport conference schedule is virtually identical to last year's conference schedule. The dates are obviously updated, but the order of opponents is exactly the same and the weekends they play each respective opponent is exactly the same. The only key difference is home and away are flipped from last year's schedule.

I find it a little odd, but it's certainly the easiest way to go as long as those weekends are available for conference play. Just repeat the schedule, change the dates by one, and fill in the rest of the weekends with your non-conference games. With the odd number of teams due to the addition of Morrisville, it's probably best to keep it as consistent as possible.

If this is the case, then you can essentially figure out your school's SUNYAC schedule. The only question would be is everyone flipping home and away across the board from last year's schedule?

Before Morrisville,

Oh, those were the days...

Even for the two of you, that was one f-ed up sequence.

Why would the NESCAC be so adamant about not having curry in the interlock?

No, Jerry was right: the NESCAC teams didn't want Curry in the EAST and would have cut of the interlock if Curry or Manhattanville was voted in...This is a fact...

Nor is this exactly surprising. Those two teams definitely have something in common, my sources say. And it might also be what caused M'ville's weak SOS this year.

What do these two teams have in common?? Are you crazy! Manhattanville has 14 Canadians and 7 Europeans!! What does Curry have like 3-4 Canadians?? These two programs are NOT alike!!

Wait - the only way that two programs can be similar or dissimilar is the demographic makeup of the team?

Who knew?

Re: 2010-11 schedules

I was going to say that they are similar in the fact they both can get whomever the want in the door though admissions and they can both dole out decent amounts of Financial Aid but they would compete right away against those teams and they are better than most NESCAC teams now. So it is not surprising that the snobs in the NESCAC would not want them.

Not true. Curry is not the same school it was back 5-8 years ago in terms of admissions and regarding Financial Aid, Curry does not give Financial Aid to International students like Manhattanville does.

I'm speaking strictly about on the ice...
