2010-11 schedules

Re: 2010-11 schedules

I just found out the other 2 teams in the Skidmore Tournament that Elmira's participating in are Buff State and Southern Maine.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

Do you know the other teams at the Skidmore Tournament?

If I'm still living here in Gloversville, I'll have to try and get to those two games since they are 30 minutes down the road!

I don't yet know the other teams in the tourney. When I find out I'll post it.

Umm, I could have told you that about that 3 months ago....

Then why didn't you? You were posting here around that time.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

 Because I was never asked.... Don't get condescending with me boy....;)

But you knew, and you were reading and we were curious ....
Furthermore, you seem to know something about the future of the ECAC East, and aren't telling :(

Prof

Charlie is a lot closer to you than HF77. Torture him by having him watch Bob Norton videos. I guarentee he'll talk after 30 minutes.

Re: 2010-11 schedules

I had no idea that people were so interested in the Skidmore Tourney...I actually don't read or remember every post on this board...If I had read his post about who was playing in the tourney I would have told him...As for the ECAC East, we will all know soon...

Re: 2010-11 schedules

Here are a bunch of schedules that have been announced, but haven't been mentioned in this thread:

(Note: Some schedules are incomplete)

ECAC East

ECAC Northeast

ECAC West

MASCAC

MCHA

MIAC

NCHA

NESCAC

Northeast-10

On my count, there are 18 schools in the East Region that haven't announced their schedules yet. There is only one West Region school (Northland) that hasn't announced their schedule yet. That doesn't really matter though, as we (and USCHO) can figure out their schedule through everyone elses.

I met Bob about 5-6 years ago after a BU-Michigan game. Now, granted, it was late in the evening and he was well-tuned up by then, but he was really gracious to us.

I've met him several times, his son was the assistant at NU for a few years...
He was always a funny guy, had great stories to tell.

He used to mention Norwich every once in a while in those days when he did the ECAC tv games on NESN. Mentioned his son and what a great job he was doing IIRC

I got the chance to work with Bob several times ... he was always a class act and a really great guy ... and he genuinely loves college hockey ... I don't understand why so many people dump on him like they do.

From what I've seen of him on TV, it might be because of the appearance that he's an unabashed Eastern slappy (and the two big Boston schools in particular). I could see why someone could take that from watching him. Now, as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't bother me one bit.
