Crap. Paajarvi snaps Khudobin's shutout streak. Maybe now Oilers can stop running anyone near the boards.

Brandon Dubinsky out 3-4 weeks with a stress facture of the left fibula. The injuries for the Rangers have been ridiculous this year. ****

It's amazing we're even in the playoff race with the injuries we've dealt with this year. They aren't just injuries to any player either...They are almost always happening to the stars of the team and the top six forwards.

In the 2nd most worthless All Star Game... well, if any All Star games are worthwhile to begin with... anyways, Staal and Lidstrom are named Captains.

Anyone else stunned by this? I would've SWORN it would be Ovechkin vs. Crosby. I wonder if Bettman is disappointed in this? I wonder if he worries about if they're on the same team?

Truthfully speaking, I was surprised but gladdened. It's nice to see someone OTHER than 87 and 8 get some of the limelight.
You've gotta have Staal be one of the captains if the game is in Raleigh. And hey, Lidstrom is a legend and he deserves the spotlight.

Oh for ****'s sake, it just never ends, does it?

Gabby doing his best to make people forget that Dubinksy is out. Four goals so far.

I can't find the Wild game on TV in Grand Forks, but the way my phone is blowing up with score updates, it seems like they Wild are having a good start to the game.

3-0 start of the 3rd right now. Wanted to see that Kazakh kid play, heard he's rather animated in goal. But alas, Backstrom is back. Figures.

Edit: Buttercup just scored. 4-0.

4-0 now. Clutterbuck unleashes a pretty wicked snipe. Goal number 14 of the year, a new career high. Haha.

Is it just me, or have the Wild started playing defense again? This time with a little more scoring punch than the Jacques system.

Calgary looks horrible tonight. Kobasew makes it 5-0.

They are definitely getting more and more structured on D. Much better positioning lately, and less "What the hell!?!" moments.

Christ. This is a slaughter. I think they have officially turned their luck around in the Saddledome.

The Wild have 14 GF and 1 GA in the last three games. Now they haven't played the cream of the crop in that span, but they seem to be beating the teams they should beat on a more consistent basis.

They did play Vancouver in that span, who had the best record in the NHL, and beat them handily.
