B's with a second solid performance in a row. Full 60 minutes.

...In the 3 B's games I've attended this year, they are outscoring opponents 15-1. :p

Add the Laffs to that list. Smoked 5-0 by the Oilers at the ACC.

Not only is it time to fire Wilson, but tonight's putrid effort shows it's also time to tie the can to his PC buddy.

I'm so bummed that I had to change my avatar! :o

This is from the CBC:

The crowd of 19,465 watched the Maple Leafs get blanked for the sixth time in 24 outings this season. A steady stream of jeers from the Toronto faithful began late in the second period and escalated into “Fire Wilson, fire Wilson” late in the game.

With the rumored talks, if Rogers were to buy the Leafs, do you think they would they clean out the front offices and start over?

Re: 2010-11 NHL Season part I: Blackhawks Down in Atlanta

So apparently LA figured out that Sturm hasn't played since last year's playoffs and nixed the trade, for now.

That's the sad part of this whole 40-year mess. This team would have a hard time beating a good college squad, but the $$ keep rolling in and the Teacher's Pension Fund keeps improving the bottom line.

The only ones that give a rat's butt are the fans who can't afford to spend a month's salary for a night at the ACC.

Neither the Islanders, nor the Rangers, have elected to stop the puck tonight.

With the way Biron played tonight and with Torts history....Biron has successfully earned his next start in February!

At least the Marlies are competitive...

With how well they're doing, this IS worth throwing a parade over. :p :D

Are the Thrashers a juggernaut like the Wings/Hawks/etc? No. But they certainly look to finally be on the right path.

I agree with what you wrote above. My point is that the articles about relocation will contine to be written about Atlanta regardless of how successful they are on the ice, until someone in Atlanta actually cares. The Predators have been one of the winningest teams since the lockout (shocking but true), but they'll always be written about in the same way until they get 17,000 nightly. One the ice success has little to do with the relocation equation. It's all about money.

SO we need to pitch in and buy you season tickets is what you're saying here?

Possibly. :p

Dating back to the two playoffs games I went to last year, they are 5-0. Hell, I flew to San Jose to watch 'em play in January and they got their only win in a one month span there.

I was 6-0 at Bills games before I got season tickets. Well you know how the story has gone over the last three seasons... :(

The Leafs are competitive tonight and Thomas has been phenomenal. Versteeg scores a PP goal in the final minute to force overtime!! :D

Thomas ROBS Beauchemin in OT!

I get the feeling that with their goaltending, Tampa Bay is going to be involved in a lot more ol' time 7-6, 6-5 games this season.

Re: 2010-11 NHL Season part I: Blackhawks Down in Atlanta

Am I the only person here who thinks shootouts are lame? Or should I wait to post that until after the Bruins manage to win a shootout? Who are we kidding, the Bruins will never win a shootout...
