Holy crap. A fan at the wild game was just attacked by a player and all he was doing was clapping. Literally. And to make things worse, the fan was kicked out.

ESPNews just showed the highlight.

And I bet it was just for questioning on what happened, etc. And the fan will be compensated; probably with a whole lotta Wild stuff.

In hindsight, even if Rypien was booted and the fan is innocent, it may have also been a safety policy to get him away from the Canucks' bench.

Pretty sure that is what happened. They mentioned later that other people were in those seats. Kerry Fraser was the guest during this time and said they probably switched them to get them away from the bench.

Rypien should've taken after the Bruins player who went into the stands at MSG and beat the Rangers fan with his own shoe.

They just switched them with other fans. They showed the guys sitting right on the glass somewhere else laer in the game. Good to know they weren't tossed. Rypien might have been fined for the way he was treating the officials as well, seeming three players, a trainer, and the coach had to get between Rypien and them. Who knows, just another jerk from Canuckistan to hate.
