2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

You guys are assuming he will get hits at all...that .240 average begs to differ :p

According to the Twins site the right field foul line runs almost on a north-south axis.

Alright I put way more time into this then it's worth, but since there doesn't seem to be a good aerial picture yet, i.e. satellite, I compared pictures some more, and the right field foul lines appears to runs in line with the edge of Target Center, which is actually pretty much northwest-southeast. So home plate to center field is more due east. Until the web based satellite pictures are updated...that's what I will believe, despite what the Twins say.

If what I say is true, maybe both Duluth and Red Wing are possible. :D

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

You guys remind of those people who can tell which hockey player is which based on the type of skate they use or the way they hold their stick

(that is not a good thing! :p )

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Home plate to center field is straight east. Duluth would be a foul ball, straight up left field line to Lake Superior would put you somewhere near Ashland, WI.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

A recent Tweet (bite me Handy ;) ) from Reusse: "Hum is getting louder that Twins will announce Mauer contract extension as kickoff to Twins Fest."

It would be nice, but I doubt it will happen.

There you go Bill Smith, prove me wrong.

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

So they add Jim Thome?

The Twins needed a left-handed stick?
Every time they try to add a right-handed bat, they fail miserably. If they can add anybody who can do something positive at least part of the time, then I'm in favor of that.

Why? He's either going to hit one halfway to Duluth or trudge back to the dugout after strike 3.
He does walk a lot.

Uh...if you are parked at Choice you most likely got towed since it closed and a new club opened up ;)

Seriously? Then what was the name of the place I was at last Friday night?

I really don't know the name of the place I was at. It was on 2nd because I remember walking on the sidewalk that doubled as a hockey rink on 2nd.

I was there once. They've got the top shelf <strike>hookers</strike> strippers there. That was an expensive night because we didn't start at the Seville. We started at a cheap bar, and rounds kept getting bought - apparently by me.
