2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

The Xcel Energy Center will have something to cheer about as MVP drops the puck against the Bruins on Wednesday.

This is awesome. It's going to be like Favre in reverse.

I try not to memorize who Steve Phillips is nailing. The guy was the GM of the Mets and even I wouldn't sleep with that girl.

I don't memorize it, but I know "bad picture/story" and remember that if I read one. This is one of them. :p

Ohhh right. Just Googled...icky.

I did too...For the same reason you mentioned. I don't keep track of who Steve Phillips is banging. Once I read who it was, I opened up another page real quick...

Boof's gone.... http://blogs2.startribune.com/blogs...kD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O:DW3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUycaEacyU

Carl Pavano accepts arbitration and will be a Twin in 2010 http://www.startribune.com/sports/t...i8cyaiUqCP:iUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aULPQL7PQLanchO7DiUr

Also interesting from the Pavano article...
The move also could make it easier for the club to deal lefthander Glen Perkins, who butted heads with the coaching staff during the season and later filed a grievance to regain lost service time.

I always thought it was funny when people had Twins shirts with his name Boof and number on it. Now those shirts are even funnier.

Very interesting on Perkins. I have never been a fan of him.

No way. Mauer is not going to roll into New York to try and help get the Jets to the Super Bowl.

I know they still have to beat the Colts next week, but given the improbability of the Jets making it this far: Do you know something we don't? Like, when was the last time anyone actually SAW Joe Mauer? :p

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 4: I Was Told There Would Be No Math

Last sighting I heard about was New Years Eave at Plums in St. Paul with his lifemate Justin ;)

BTW I think the thread title is apropos for the offseason as well seeing as they did not math in adding any parts to the team :p
