Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

I also heard some tickets were going for several THOUSAND dollars.
I don't know, I only looked at the cheapest tickets. I was only in the market for the cheap seats. I'm hoping to get to the game early, very early, so I get to sit in the first couple rows in right field above the baggie. Its the closest you can get to the action from the cheap seats.

I havent heard of anyone paying that much but I know a guy on Ebay was selling them for like 15 grand...why would I do that when just two days ago I saw them on CL for face value? (I am not gonna go anyways but just saying)

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

It is rather ironic -- pay a ton of money to watch a team play their last game in a stadium that they are moving out of because nobody wanted to watch them play there.

If you're playing your biggest game of the year and you can't knock out Eddie Bodine within 3 innings, then it shows that you really aren't cut out for this.:(

Re: 2009 MN Twins Part 3 - It's still not over...statistically

Well, they made a solid effort to get back in the race, but just couldn't come up clutch when they needed it most.

Saying that, i think the Twins will look back at this season and think of all the opportunities that they left out on the field. If the pitching can improve into next season, and they get solid production from their lineup, they should contend again in the Central.

Umm...we haven't been eliminated yet.

Virtually. Do we need the Tigers to lose every one of their last games and us to win all of our games. Almost impossible.

Well at least I have tickets for the last Twins game at Metrodome on Sunday...

Weirder things have happened.

If MN wins the division outright, SCSU will win their first NCAA tourney game this year.

Aw, heck with it, if MN wins the division PERIOD, SCSU will win their first NCAA tourney game this year. :p

No, but the Twins have to win out and the Tigers lose 2 of 3 to CHW.
