Agreed. Verlander is by far the best pitcher Detroit has.

If the Twins take the next two, they are in good shape. If they take anything less, it's going to be a long offseason.

Not that we accentuate the positives much around here, but hopefully the Twins will take the momentum of fighting back tonight into Wednesday and Thursday.

I am hopeful that they will. They will need to. The Twins won't come back from two games back with three to play, when one of those three is against Zack Greinke.

Ozzie announced today that he's pushing back Jake Peavy's next start from Thursday to Friday, so he'll be pitching the first game against the Tigers. So that should help some.

Given how Detroit has played the last 3 weeks, and how they recently lost 2 of 3 against the Sux (in their win they came back from 5-0), I would be willing to bet they don't sweep. Given how we don't know each other, and I'm assuming we live over a thousand miles apart, the only thing we could be would be pride. I'm up for it though :p:D:D

I just got 4 tickets to the game Sunday. Shirtless Guy and I are going, so there are still 2 tickets left, if anyone wants to go to the last Twins game at the Dome, let me know.

Well, both are available on craigslist, ebay and stubhub. I checked the Twins website before and there was nothing available there. So I ended up buying on ebay, since stubhub is a ripoff and I deal with craigslist people.

Since I have no interest, I never thought of asking where they tried to get tix from.

I know! I got annoyed when I couldn't use my student discount anymore! I haven't been to a game since 2007 because paying to get into that dump is a total waste of money. :)
