2009 MLB Thread, Part II: Claimed Off The Waiver Wire

Re: 2009 MLB Thread, Part II: Claimed Off The Waiver Wire

Sounds like a marketing campaign.

(Says the fan of the post 2001 Friars to the fan of the post 1985 Engineers)

This is where I say Servinis was offsides and you say, "Nah, it was totally legit," right?

BJ Upton of the Rays has hit for the cycle against the Yanks tonight and did it in the first 5 innings. First Ray to hit for the cycle.

Re: 2009 MLB Thread, Part II: Claimed Off The Waiver Wire

if you believe in the rumor mill, bad news for Cubs fans today.

SD GM Towers was fired today (that's not the rumor). That means Hendry is back to square one with Bradley (trading Milton to SD was the rumor).

Too bad.

But then again, the offseason is long. It's too bad we can't start right now. We've been in offseason mode since August or even late July.

Dodger's win the NL West with a 5-0 thumping of the Rockies.

It was a 0-0 game into the 7th when Franklin Morales melted down and gave up 4 runs.

holy cow is Ron Darling annoying. Shut the **** up already! You don't need to fill every spare second.

Re: 2009 MLB Thread, Part II: Claimed Off The Waiver Wire

If he keeps that up ESPN will want him on every night.

Re: 2009 MLB Thread, Part II: Claimed Off The Waiver Wire

Ron Darling talking >>>>>>>> Chip Caray talking

After further review, I think his voice annoys me moreso than his inability to shut up. I wonder who is doing the rest of the playoff games? I think Brian Anderson in Milwaukee is doing some.

TBS has the same crews they had last year. This idiot squawk group doing this one and then the actually half-good team of Orsillo and Buck Martinez.
