2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

Wild win their third in a row...Harding looked good again. He has like 114 saves in the win streak which is kinda a lot

The Anti-Forward got another goal as did Havlat and I forget the others.

The Wild are 6 points out of the playoffs with 13 games left,

Seems as though Ebbett is enjoying his time with Havlat and Latendresse. I like his quote from a few weeks ago.

"They are such skilled puck movers. I don't know what they are going to do, so I just go to the net."

It's working out. :D

It sure seems like you can't go wrong when players just go to net. :p

That is a great quote! :D

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

I would prefer if the "Bill Tenderness" thing went away already...I like the "Guillotine" that was christened on GPL. :D

Blasphemy. He will always be the Tenderness, and lo and behold, everyone likes that nickname except for you. Color me shocked. :D

I don't even really like "Guillotine", but it's still better than "The Tenderness", which tells you ghay of a nickname that one is. :p

I always hate to agree with Handyman or Slap Shot, but "the Tenderness" is a ga nickname and should never be used again. :p

I usually never agree with them ;) but I'm also on the ban "The Tenderness" nickname bandwagon.

Not at all. Besides, I know tons of people who love the Tenderness nickname, and so far today we have one vote for it, and three against it. Too early to formulate an opinion of the masses.

I'm not counting Scooby as his opinion of anything Wild-related is irrelevant at best. :p

Re: 2009-2010: Official Minnesota Wild Thread

I like "Bill Tenderness."

Is it homo sounding? Yup. I just think it's funny that his name literally means "Tenderness." Hilarious.

People can call him whatever they want though, I don't care.
