so he's russian-eskimo.

No, but he can see Russia from his from front yard! :D

No score thru one. Very good period. Caps don't cash in on their 2 PP's, nor does Montreal on their's. Both goalies look very strong.

Bruins looked okay in the first period...got a bit lax towards the middle, but overall the passing was great, and some solid scoring chances. Nice shot by Wideman high stick side for the equalizer.

Knuble with a SHG, Caps 1-0

Correction, they've given it to Boyd Gordon.

wow... a hit from the side, shoulder to head.

seems it's not so bad now, huh?
It wasn't from the side, it was head on...but, yeah, shoulder to head.

I doubt there's a suspension, and Ellis needs to keep his head up.

What's the over-under on the crowd harassing Halak if it becomes a three goal lead? ;)

Heh, I think they'll stick by him...neither goal was soft.

This is where MOntreal's lack of size/grit hurts. They need a game changing hit; something to get momentum back. Sadly there's one guy (Moen) in their bottom 6 capable of that, and he hasn't looked very effective in a while.

Well, we just found out... it's 3-0...and the Habs have gone to Carey Price.

Heh, that *was* Boychuk. I wasn't even thinking of that.

This is what happens when you watch the NHL playoffs just for the hockey, rather than as a fan of a specific team.

I jumped off the Bruins bandwagon years ago. I won't embarrass myself by waving a B's flag now...

The wheels sure can come off quickly against this Washington team. Montreal outplays them in the first, and 5 minutes into the second it's 3-0 and your goalie is on the bench. Sacre bleu! :D

Ball game. Ovechkin with a rocket from the slot and it's 4-0.
