I think a 6th email to my inbox from his campaign within an hour of the announcement would have let me know he’s made it official. 5 just wasn’t enough.

To me, Roy Cooper must be everyone else’s version of Andy Beshear: milquetoast, moderate white dude who no one wants, except maybe his own voters. Dude doesn’t excite me at all. But, in your mold, if he wins a NC Senate seat for Democrats, he’s the best, nicest, gentlest fucking Democrat who ever lived.
