The GQP is petitioning to halt the Pentagon-directed removal of the Confederate Memorial at Arlington, because of course they are. The plan is to relocate it to a site owned by the VMI. That's not good enough for fans of the loser flag (shocker), who are attempting to rewrite history by referring to the memorial as the "Reconciliation Monument" and recasting it as a memorial to national unity after the Civil War (because Reconstruction went so well and the South was so grateful!), rather than a memorial to the Confederacy.
