Also, when Gaetz asked him about his drug use, said something like, "are you seriously asking me about this? You?"

The entire exchange is Hunter basically humiliating Gaetz...and made the world understand how bad his addiction really was.

And remember he never took the fifth...despite being charged in cases where his testimony could be used against him.

For shaming everyone else for their sexual antics, conservatives sure have a strong humiliation kink.

That's gonna be hilarious.

God bless her. F-ckin' stab the Nazis in the throat.

Even some Liberals are capable, if they're under 60.

So winging back to Duckworth's IVF bill, it was torpedoed by Mississippi's Cindy Hyde-Smith because she was concerned about the poison pills the evil dems slipped into the *checks notes* one-and-one-half page bill.

Why might Ms. Hyde-Smith torpedo this bill?

It would legalize human cloning. It would legalize
commercial surrogacy, including for young girls without parental
involvement. It would legalize gene-edited designer babies and lift the
Federal ban on the creation of three-parent embryos. It would legalize
the creation of human-animal chimeras.
(Her exact words)

Would love for our conservative folk on the board to step forward and explain this like everyone else they carry water for.

Republicans, when they're not thinking about sex with queer folks, they're thinking of having sex with animals.

Who is going to pay her? She has zero pull and no respect. Why would anyone pay her to be a useless piece of shit?

lobbyists are expected to get results. She has zero accomplishments in six years.

On the contrary, banking interests and the top .01% thank her for her service for which they will richly reward her.

House Republicans are ramming through a potential sale and closure of the Northeast Strategic Gasoline Reserve stockpile on their House Appropriations Bill as part of a "way to keep government from shutting down."

Sounds more like the corrupt Republicans would rather bend the knee to Putin than do anything in the name of democracy.

I'll bet on the usual "they don't vote for us so fk 'em."

I think it’s a combination of not having any good places to cut from and something that likely benefits oil and gas industry. I read somewhere there were operational issues with the facility but don’t know how true that is. As someone who lives in the northeast I obviously don’t like it and doubt it moves the needle at all financially.

Congress is working on banning TikTok again, on grounds of privacy concerns.

But hey. The Speaker of the House having an app on his phone which monitors and records all the actions on screen and sends notifications to his son ('s unsecured personal phone) regarding the usage of the phone if the speaker watches porn is a-okay. Not like the Speaker of the House may take calls from all sorts of people with varying security clearances, and it's also not like he doesn't use Google at work.

This guy has a point, how about we crack down on the data mining? Catch all the bad actors and not just the ones who don't grease the politicians palms?
