Pelosi was also not brutally exposed as a coward and a failure on the world stage.

In his own small way, Kevin McCarthy is conservatism in microcosm. Inept and damaging, but in the end more of a loser than a villain. They're all just a bunch of sad old f-cks.

Ahh, but Gym is a man’s man. Not much down below to threaten us, thanks to roids, and almost nothing on top to trick us, thanks to the cold hard truth of genetic lottery.
 
So always-consistent former Speaker Kevin McCarthy has walked back suggestions that he may resign, and is indicating that he may want to run for the Speaker position again.
 
In order to become Speaker again, he needs one or both of the lunatics or the Democrats. And he's aggressively burned both bridges at this point.

And even then, I doubt it. The fact is that no one - literally no one - trusts Kevin McCarthy. His word means nothing.


The guy was going to meetings with Democratic leadership and telling them he's lying to his own caucus and asking that they (dems) trust him despite giving zero collateral. Then he'd turn around and go back to the GQP and tell them how they could do just anything they want if only those same Democrats weren't such America-hating commies.
 
In their GOP only session and via secret ballot, Scalise had been picked over Jordan 113 to 99.

It is pretty pathetic and sad that these are the two choices they had. What a pathetic party. I mean, the Dems had Nancy and these guys put up two assclowns.
 
My only impression of Scalise, other than making a good target, is he seems less mealy mouthed and cloying than Qevin. He's a nut, but he's not that "no, no, not in the face" type of nut. So maybe he would be easier to deal with.
