That's just it. You know some FreeDumbers are gonna vote for a random like Trump the first few rounds to prove a point/loyalty. Also I'm sure a few won't want to be put on the record with their votes.

TBH, I'd prefer the honesty to Qevin's antics. It's time for the last few morons who still think the "uniparty" and "bothsides" are a thing to wake the fark up.

Please tell me nobody thinks this anymore. I could maybe see some sort of perversely stupid sense to it when Obama did not close Gitmo. It was dumb but at least there was a shred of thought. But not since the MAGAt Ascendancy.
 
Oh there are plenty of MAGAts who believe it's true, and we aren't going to change their minds. To them, any pol who isn't all aboard the MAGA train, spewing garbage and owning the libs every single day is a RINO uniparty globalist who should become a Dem.

I was referring to the sort of "moderate" who still thinks splitting their ticket is a valid option at the ballot box. There shouldn't be many of those left, or at least, you'd think...

No one except the MAGA'ts and everyone who placates them (99% of the current GOP). If, McCarthy had acted normal then the normal thing would have happened and he would have gotten the Democratic votes to keep him as Speaker.

I've heard some Dems say they can work with Scalise but I don't fucking buy it. He's going to be just as bad if not worse than Kevin. Gym is a non starter from the word GO.

I'm not counting the MAGAts because they are the GOP short bus. They vote R; they are R.

A true unipartier would be voting for Jill Stein or Cornel West or god help us all RFKJ.
 
Whoever is going to lose the Speakership, after a few rounds of no winners, the Democrats should vote overwhelmingly for the clear loser of the vote on the GOP side just to undermine his power. None of the smoothies will ever trust him.

Republican Rep. Steve Scalise ended his bid to become speaker of the House on Thursday after Kevin McCarthy was ousted from that seat last week.
The Louisiana lawmaker said he was withdrawing from the House speaker race after he failed to secure the votes and support needed to push him ahead of his chief rival for the position, Rep. Jim Jordan.
