Stefanik says house republicans will take up national 15 week abortion ban
aw was it never about states rights?

No way that passes, is there? There have to be 5 GOPs who would vote against that (whether they're from blue districts or maybe some actually do believe in states' rights). So then it comes down to: would there be any Dems who vote for it?
Of course it wasn't. I was appalled by my so-called libertarian friends that dismissed the Dobbs case as being a states rights thing, when this was absolutely coming.
Control. They want control. Of everything.
So, 1 then. Need 6 GOP defectors. I think this is going to be another GOP own goal. Won’t become law, forces GOP members to go on the record, and further divides the GOP. The Dems should absolutely let this come to a floor vote.
Libertarians are now a party exclusively of people who want the age of consent lowered or people who never matured past 18.
Oh, wait, i guess the latter explains the former.
Without looking: Cuellar? Dude sucks, but has turned back plenty of well-funded Democratic primary challengers in the past.
It's become equivalent to "independent Constitutional conservative" in a social media bio. I see a lot of "Libertarian-ish" as well, particularly with pro-birth accounts who don't subscribe to a belief in female bodily autonomy and/or LGBTQ+ rights, but think they're libertarian because they're some combo of anti-vax, anti-tax, anti-regulation, and believe in horsesh*t uniparty/NWO/WEF/Bilderberg/etc. conspiracies.
Basically, these are all now just ways for the "I have a right to be an a55hole" crowd to self-identify as a55holes without calling themselves Republicans.
Never forget.Agreed. Libertarianism has moved from weird uncle territory to pacific northwest paramilitary insanity.

I'm very sorry for the family, and, hey, maybe let's not hammer Pelosi quite so much now, eh Nazis?
