Ted Cruz is just awful all the time. He’s awful making coffee, he’s awful holding the tv remote, he’s awful walking down the hall, he’s awful opening the garage, he’s awful getting the mail, he’s awful making a u-turn, he’s awful pouring milk, he’s awful wearing sunglasses, etc.

This could be the next Dr. Suess book.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Tuesday he's "lost confidence" in Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) during a moment of candor caught on a hot mic, a tape reviewed by Axios shows.
What he's saying: "I think she's got real problems," McCarthy told Steve Doocy off-air ahead of a live "Fox and Friends" interview. "I've had it with ... I've had it with her. You know, I've lost confidence. ... Well, someone just has to bring a motion, but I assume that will probably take place."

Never thought I'd see the day where I thought Liz Cheney was sane. The GOP moves the bar further and further to the right and everyone pretends that Biden's a socialist. I got bad news for everyone. Biden is center right. He's not center left. Nixon was leftier than Biden.
You know the saying that when you’re accustomed to privilege, any move towards equality feels like oppression? There's a corollary - if your politics move far enough to the right, everyone else looks like a Marxist.
It works for moving too far left as well (go full tankie and everyone else looks like Pinochet), but there aren't any extreme left movements really gaining ground at the moment.
That is a brilliant quote.
Check this tweet out. Nancy Pelosi knocked the Cheney issue out of the park.

Now that McConnell literally says that his goal is to stop everything, will Manchin/Sinema finally change their tune? Or will they pretend there are ten moderates to swing?

The mythical, magical place where Republicans cooperate with Democrats is called Manchinland.
Mitch McConnell admitted yesterday that "100 percent" of his focus is on blocking Democrats, not getting important work done.
In the process, he effectively invited Democrats to leave Republicans behind.
Lindsey Graham: Can we move forward without President Trump? The answer is no. I’ve always liked Liz Cheney but she’s made a determination that the Republican Party can’t grow with President Trump. I’ve determined we can’t grow without him.
You tell em, Lindsey. Get that woman out of leadership. The Fuhrer commands it.
