Back when History ran Modern Marvels and WWII docs, it was great.

Heck, when they ran any sort of doc, they were great. Now it's ax men and aliens and shit. I know we made fun of it for being the Hitler Channel but at least that was history.

The foods that shaped us is OK, but them trying to dramatize someone creating corn flakes it a bit silly.

The Grant miniseries they did based on the Chernow book was excellent though; got to give them major props for that; but it could have focused a little more on post-Civil War.

My favorite Modern Marvels episode was an antithesis episode on failed inventions. The one that has stuck with me is a failed instant breakfast of microwaveable scrambled eggs in a sleeve that you could eat in the car.

McConnell is no longer in charge and has never negotiated in good faith anyway, so he can go pound sand. Insert whatever red state welfare Manchin wants for WVa (propping up dying coal mines or whatever) and get this thing done.

And it also appears to be correct and correctly attributed. Will wonders never cease?
