I know, I mean this flies in the face of all of the other stuff they've done in the last four years to come off as well-read cosmopolitan experts!

While I have said similar, I wouldn't blow up the bill over it. She is going to cut of her nose to spite her face. This isnt the 1950s one party stopped playing by the normal rules and procedures a long time ago. I applaud the way she goes about the business of the Senate but she is living in a dream world at the moment.

60 vote threshold on everything...what the fcuk world is she living in that that will work? Nothing will pass no matter who is in power. Must be nice not to have to be one of the people who will be screwed over as Congress is at a standstill.

She and Manchin have no idea what the consequences their stances will have. But hey Politico loves her...

There are plenty of GOPers that are educated and arent the offspring of cousins banging who failed the GED. Some even went to schools Kepler approves of ;^)

And of course all of this awful stuff only occurred AFTER she spoke at his convention like 6 months ago.

She was defending Trump from Impeachment just a few weeks ago. If you read the whole article you will see why. (she is just like him...if she is ever President it will get bad fast)

That's true. There are Republicans who graduated from every Ivy and from CMU, MIT and CalTech.

There are certainly Republicans who graduated from Cal, UCLA, UNC, William & Mary, Wisconsin, UW, and Minnesota.

I don't know if any graduated from Williams, Amherst, Swarthmore, Wellesley, Bowdoin, Carlton, Hamilton, Middlebury, Haverford, Wesleyan, Bates, Macalaster, Berea, Oberlin, or Thomas Aquinas.

Obviously if I left out anyone's alma mater it's an oversight.

Well, according to Jim Cornette this wouldn’t be Stan’s first paternity suit. Though it is a first for a cousin at least.

I would assume Dr. Mrs. likes that she is a very thoughtful Senator who stands by her convictions. She also keeps her yap shut about the internal goings on.

Her idealism is nice...it is also totally naïve.
 
We always knew Sinema was right there with Manchin. If the parliamentarian rules that a wage increase is allowed under reconciliation, maybe she’ll vote for it during the next one.
