Gaetz is actually upset Trump supports Qevin...called it "sad". He is also not pleased with MTG.

Qolorado Qucumber is too stupid to understand what is happening. Probably in the back watching her husband flash his small penis at underage girls.

She also made a video where she was gushing as the metal detectors in the Capitol were being removed.
 
Which makes no sense...there is no one to make that decision since there is no House of Representatives sworn in yet.

BTW someone on Twitter brought up an reason for the "present" vote which makes sense. The more people who vote present the closer Jeffries is to being Speaker. If it gets to the point that it it is waaaaaaay to close Qevin will be under enormous pressure from the Caucus to drop out. It will be a game of chicken to get him to end his bid so they can vote for someone they actually like.

If we see a couple more "present" votes in the next couple rounds I think that is the plausible play.

But that's just it - who do they actually like that could get 218? Even if McCarthy "announces" that he's dropping out (he can't stop people from nominating him - c.f. Gym Jordan), who else gets 218? Who can bridge the seemingly tremendous gap between the 200 and the 20?

A McCarthy voter switching to present is...ummm...interesting. It obviously doesn't help him but still screws over Donalds. McCarthy only has 201 votes he can't win with people voting present unless they are Dems or (now) Donalds 20. Jeffries has the "lead" the more that drop out that aren't Dems the closer he is to victory. If McCarthy doesn't start flipping the Anti McCarthy crowd he can't win the numbers are against him.

I am not sure why she voted present. It doesnt help Qevin and it doesn't help the GOP.

It's not for Kevin, it's for the Rep. Voting Present tells Mccarthy they won't back him and tells the opposition Jordan is unacceptable so put up somebody else and she may vote for them.

The options are: ride or die Qevin, but it looks like the Taliban Twenty are serious; Gym which is ridiculous and disgusting; Present; vote for yourself a la Donalds; vote for some other Rep to try to coax them to declare. Or I guess vote for Jeffries to grab headlines but probably destroy your career.

There is another option, though, and that is to nominate Dump. I am surprised nobody has done that yet.

Well once McCarthy drops out some other R immediately gets all his votes, and then maybe a few of the protesters'. Or maybe the moderates are trying Chinese water torture: every round the Crazies hold on, they shoot a hostage, moving Jeffries one vote closer to Speaker. The Mccarthyites way of giving a "I would rather let Democrats control committees than you" middle finger to the Vandals.
 
Gym is out. Donalds got all his votes. He seemingly really wants nothing to do with this cluster...turning a blind eye to rape as per usual. (this time Qevin)

If that is her play it is stupid. They need Qevin to drop (or cut the deal of deals) or they have no path to victory. Even Boebert can do the math...she isn't a Talibaner she was Pro McCarthy yesterday. Why change now?

The Qrazies are ride or die...her voting "present" screws her whole party.

I know nothing about Donalds, I assume he is crazy given who is voting for him, but part of me would find it very funny if a guy named "Donalds" won just to rub it in to Trump it wasn't him.

People loyal to Trump, who think he would be draining the swamp, are saying the man he endorsed and is begging for them to vote for is...part of the swamp? So Trump is draining the swamp by being associated with the swamp?

No they don't...because he has already gotten in a fight with the CBC over their racial stances. It is how he made a name for himself. He also fully backs Trump (even said he isnt racist!) and voted not to certify. He is a crackpot criminal who became a Republican because he "found Jesus" and became a Christian.

He is originally from NY.
 
Gaetz said no matter how many times they vote he will never vote for McCarthy. I need more popcorn!
