We keep hearing dems can win if they just show up. Realistically, though, we have to reach the voters in the gray zone. Fear tactics don't work with solid dems, and the solid righties will never change. We have to figure out how to go in the corners where the play is gritty and a little ugly without losing ethical principles. There's not a player on this team who can dangle and get by with it, so quit trying to win that way.

Oh, and one shift at a time, a full 60 minutes, and write to your mother.

It's not like they feel they are being uncivil to an actual person. Remember, people of color are animals to them.

Net neutrality had unofficially been the rule of the Internet since Day 1. Only when certain ISPs started to skirt it did it become necessary to make it an official rule.

And those same ISPs went to court to force the FCC to do out the heavy handed way, because they argued (successfully) that the lighter approach to enforcing it wasn't legal.

So to recap:
Net neutrality in place from beginning as unofficial policy.
ISPs begin skirting that policy.
FCC attempts to regulate it.
ISPs take FCC to court.
Court strikes down FCC regulations, says you have to do it under Title II.
FCC enacts Title II regulations to enforce net neutrality.
GOP says that is improper, and its voters agree.

Fishy isn't/wasnt an Alex Jones follower. He was a tried and true fox news/NY post/WSJ drone. Aka a Murdoch disciple. Otherwise known as generic Republican.

There's a difference? The lines are pretty blurry right now. You seen Fox and Friends or Hannity lately?

Well yeah, it makes perfect sense. They're using ICE to cudgel the people they don't like, while the FBI and DOJ have the potential to expose them for being -- to put it mildly -- shady people in over their heads.
