All great players, no doubt. Don't forget about Steve Lemieux. I'll never forget Jay Green and the Dutch Olympic game. I still bump into Jay now and then. So many good ones to consider.

It is tough because I really can only pick players that I have seen played and most of those players are from 76-80. Also most of those kids coming in at that time were 18 or 19 not like today when you have 21 year old freshman. It really is different today. Not better or worse- just different. Of the players I saw in that era- I would add Jay Green- smart player and great with the puck. Mike Brigante- one of the most entertaining players to play at EC. Small but very fast, could not catch him or knock him off his skates- Jay Boudreau- maybe the smoothest skater I every saw. As for d-men, John McLaren was outstanding when he was on the ice; he controlled the game.
