Your school's All-Time Team

Re: Your school's All-Time Team

My MINOR adjustments to the Oswego State Hockey All-Time Team: GOOD JOB

First Team
F. Dave Lair '83 (All- American)
F. F. Bruce Boisson '69
F. Pierre Belanger '68
D. Joe Carrabs '04 (All American)
D. Tom McFall '89
G. Ryan Scott '08

Second Team
F. Mike Snell '87
F. Sean Fitzgerald '89 (All American)
F. Rick Pratt '82 (All American)
D. Dan Ane '77
D. Jeff Greene '88
G. G. Pete Sears '71 (All American, '72 Olympian)

Honorable mentions: G. Peter Mueller; F. Mike Lukajic '04; F. John Staerker '89, F Greg Preston (All American); Brian DeFeo '98; Glen Sisman '76; Gotta include Eric Selleck '10

Good squad...might want to include Kevin Flynn '81 and gosh, Preston was phenmonanal. How about Don Patrick? I also thought Todd Amann, Art Federow were a big part of great Oswego teams on defense.

Was waiting to hear from one of the older seasoned veteran Oswego fans that have seen more of these guys play. Thanks for the insight.

All these guys are worthy... Patrick I felt was not a team guy, and was not consistant enough to get my vote. D was tough to Skip Taodd and Artie. And Ane could have easily been put on First team. Flynner was only as good as his line mates. :-) If he reads this I'm dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL That's for ratting me out for being in Bucklands at 16........

Let's not forget Bo Tucker and Al "The Stick" Stykiewicz !!!

Re: Your school's All-Time Team

A great player who has gotten lost in Laker lore is Robby Duke. He would be in the top 4-7 all time scores for the lakers if he didn't get hurt early in his senior year. He needs to be a honorable mention.

What years did he play?

Re: Your school's All-Time Team

Rob Duke played from 1985-1988. He was the Lakers center when we played Platty in the NCAA finals in 87. A very complete player. I beleive that he was nominated for the Hobey Baker Award in 88. That was when all divisions were elligible for the award. BakDraft can give you more info on Robbie.

Dukie was a quiet guy who was very skilled for sure, from what I remember he wasnt to into the checking game but if ya got him mad he could do it right back to ya ...funniest story for sure, Rob was a transfer from Alaska, not sure which, and hailed from Buffalo, and when he had been thru a few months of the Oswego winter he came over to me and said man is it cold here, this coming from a quiet guy from Buffalo/Alaska was funny stuff.....
