Meh. I get that he has been a vocal supporter of the idea, and was pushing us in this direction before Terry Pegula came along, but if you want to place blame for the BTHC, blame the B1G by-laws for forcing it on us once we got Pederast State on board. That's the reason there was no way to stop the train from leaving the station.

You mean the guy that put together the two winningest teams in the history of the school? Yeah, he was horrible.

You could look at it that way or you could look at it this way. The search Committee picked Dean Blais and the school admin over ruled and picked Dahl. So do I wish he was never coach? yep.....

Do you know that for a fact? how do you know one or more of the hockey playing schools didn't forced the Big Ten to start the hockey conference because it was in the bi-laws, but if none of the schools would have said anything nothing would have changed? The only school I have seen say they were against the BTHC is Minnesota. Alverez has been open about wanting a BTHC and who's to Say maybe Penn State demanded it as well or maybe even the Michigan schools and OSU? I guess my point is jsut because it was in bi-laws didn't ahve to mean it really ahd to be formed if all the hockey playing schools said no. From what Maturi and others have said some of the hockey schools wanted it and then at tha point Minnesota didn't have a choice. Or was it said some place else differently? If so I missed it.

I assume Gopher fans would include JDubbs on there.

I mention this because the Dubber was mentioned on Barreiro today after telling beat writer Michael Russo he "doesn't fit in" in Minnesota and calling him an *****hole from a second Twitter account. Barreiro mentioned the first tweet on air and caused Dubber to respond that it's easy to be a tough guy behind the microphone.

This is comedy gold. Glorious.
