Yeah, hmmm.... 4-0 since then, including 3 shutouts and a 5-0 whitewashing of the defending RS champion. I hate it when I'm right. You guys can ease off any time now!I think Yale will be fine.
Heading down to B'port tomorrow for the Sacred Heart game. Anyone else going?

I'm passing to do my (trivial) part to discourage Yale from this sort of scheduling. I'd love to have Sacred Heart on the schedule if everyone didn't know they were the worst Division I team. When you have as few out-of-league game slots as Yale has (and I agree with the decision to start with non-ECAC Ivy games), I think you need to make them count, even if it hurts the record. As it is, the Elis have put all their eggs in Saturday's basket. Too risky, IMO.
As LT said earlier, UConn couldn't skate as fast as we could but they were skilled and when they shut down the transition they were successful. I do think that at least 2 of their 3 goals were the result of defensive brain f**ts on our part. Peel's return has helped us enormously on the d but we still have work to do on d. Sacred Heart and BC are going to be radically different games, in each case like entering another universe.x1, but I will attend, after the UCONN game and the scare they provided you never know how a team may show up.
Yale trailing 7-6 to SACRED HEART with under 2 minutes to go in the 3rd.
This team clearly has a lot of improving to do

I have the disadvantage of not attending the game vs Sacred Heart but the USCHO stats indicated Yale outshot them 53-19 ... And lost? What did I miss? That's not even a 60% save percentage. Ouch.
I was thinking the same thing. Keith will light a fire under them after that disgraceful performance and they will be very motivated to show a national audience that they can play with anybody. Losing a game like this to an inferior opponent is the sign of an immature team. I'm sure they thought the game would be a laugher and weren't prepared to play a team that made their seaon with this win. Also, don't discount the Harbor Yard hex. A record of 1-3 in that building and the one win was a nail biter that could have easily gone the other wayWith that said, I am feeling optimistic that Keith will get this team going after that embarrassment. I predict an upset win Saturday.
Of the goals, one was just a really bad turnover by a freshman defenseman,
