Before Balogun was reinstated:
"Best World Cup ever!"
After:
"Worst World Cup ever!"
After Argentina score 3 in 12 minutes to take the lead in ET:
"Best World Cup ever!"
Is there some other geopolitical joke I’m missing? There are no more host countries left. Before Balogun was reinstated:
"This US team is fun and exciting."
After:
"Well that sucks, corruption ruins their moment."
After Argentina score 3 in 12 minutes to take the lead in ET:
"Was the US even in this tournament?"
The US was shining. Dump sleazed it. The US still had the chance to stand or fall with dignity by holding him off. They embraced the sleaze and became part of it. Karma. Oblivion.
And now we have an interesting final 8 which has no more geopolitics, just regular style corruption, and a host country can still win it all.

Fox should have thought of that before they paid for the broadcast rights. Complaining now is just sour grapes.Fox is upset that up to 20% of Telemundo’s audience is English speaking. I’m in that 20% and it’s because Telemundo’s presentation is far more engaging even with limited understanding of the language.

Especially when they already got the deal of the century for this year's broadcast rights in exchange for FIFA moving Qatar to the winter.Fox should have thought of that before they paid for the broadcast rights. Complaining now is just sour grapes.
It’s funny article. Both faux and Telemundo are around the 5 mil viewers. And the article says that if faux gets the English speaking audience, it would be millions more. Let’s do the math-20% of 5M is 1M. Which is on the high side. I guess you pluralize a word when it’s a fraction of one, too.Fox is upset that up to 20% of Telemundo’s audience is English speaking. I don’t know what Telemundo paid, but they’ve got some very low budget ads for the World Cup. The best are the products who advertise entirely in English. It’s funny article. I wish I knew this was an option, as I would have watched the telemundo coverage, too. More knowledge of the sport, more passion, and I am trying to learn more Spanish. Even better that it misses all of the faux ads- which are laced with a lot of political themes.
But the irony of a “business friendly” channel not wanting competition. Hilarious. Make your coverage better, faux.
