World Soccer XXXI: Golden Generation?

Tech showed there was a touch.

Look, I don't want to be a conspiracy nut, but a random graph on a screen with no scale, context, or even a timer to show that it matches the clip doesn't exactly instil confidence. I mean, Fox News puts up graphs all the time that are either meaningless or outright lies.

They could at least show the graph for the whole clip, including the initial kick and the bounce off the head of the Portuguese defender.

Wasn't the CRO player offside at the time of the initial pass from his teammate making any mirco-touch immaterial? Maybe I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Are any of the matches today on paper compelling?

Thoughts on what lineup the US will use vs. Belgium?

No he was onside on the initial pass into the area.

Both Australia-Egypt and Ghana-Colombia seem pretty compelling.

Probably the same lineup but Pepi in for Balogun. Haji Wright is the other forward but Poch seems to have him glued to the bench.

Messi in Miami is compelling. And can Cape Verde keep playing stalwart defense and shock the champions?
This is equivalent to the 1 vs 16 in March where #1 has been clearly the dominant team over everyone put in front of them and the #16 is a team with a losing record that miraculously won their 5 games in their conference tournament by 6 points combined.

Australia looks completely lost in the last third. Kinda reminds me of the US 20 years ago when they didn't have any finishers.

I'm sure that will sit well with the media partners who are supposed to also televise Norway vs Brazil at 4 ET.
