Slap Shot
I got nothing
And now for something completely different.
Agreed. If the loophole is there, take it and give your team a 15% shot at moving on versus a 0% shot.
These are some pretty interesting stats. As of 2016:
85% of regulation/extra time penalties are successful
In a shootout, that drops to 76%
If you need to score to stay alive, it drops to 62%
If your PK will win the shootout, it’s 92%
The team that shoots first wins 60% of the time.

The double tweeting was dumb and sign that he had no control. ARs coming in to help is absolutely correct and taught, the fact that he had zero conversation with them is a sure sign of incompetence.JJ,
When you have a brewha-ha with multiple players, what does giving a double tweet every 5 seconds accomplish, especially if there is no cards or other discipline issued? I saw the AR’s come in to aid, which also seemed pretty rare.
It’s something that the American officiating training in me just can’t comprehend. It goes against everything I’ve been taught across multiple sports.
Soccer is the only sport where a third party will, completely uninvited, shout their opinion that the sport sucks. It’s never enough that they don’t like it, they have to announce it to the world.I gotta love how US sports fans (Probably all MAGAs) are openly showing their hate of soccer because soccer fans are openly excited and enjoying all the drama today.
