Don’t lose by 6 or more and we’re in. That’s it.

That's the easiest way.

Although, if we want to talk crazy hypotheticals, even if we lost by 6, we could still get an auto bid if Mexico were to lose at Azteca to El Salvador. Heck, we could even lose by 7 if Mexico were to lose at Azteca. : p

Costa Rica is being a little coy on whether they’re going to start with a full lineup or pull back and save starters from suspensions for the intercontinental playoff.

It reeks of classic CONCACAF s-thousing, of which Costa Rica are masters, but it could also be true.

Last word was Costa Rica was waiting on word from FIFA on the exact ruling.

I finally got a good one this time (last time had Brazil, Sweden, and Wales).

Group A: Qatar, USA, Morocco, Wales

Canada also did not fair well. Group F: England, Germany, Canada, Tunisia.

There's a new world record for attendance at a women's soccer match: 91,553 at Barcelona v Real Madrid in the UEFA Women's Champions League

(Barcelona Femeni won 5-2, 8-3 on aggregate. They've yet to lose or draw a match in all competitions this season.)

So how did Barca get to be as good as Barca? Spending? Are the F and M teams connected businesswise or completely separate entities?

FC Barcelona Femeni is a part of the same business as the Mens team since 2002 (the club also has, among many others, a successful basketball team as well).

It really just seems like internal development has helped them immensely. They have a few foreign players (Lieke Martins is a notable one) but they’re largely a domestic based team.

The womens game in Spain has really grown since they went full professional in 2015. It’ll be interesting to see them at the Women’s Euros this summer and the World Cup.

New Zealand beat Solomon Islands and move on to the Intercontinental playoff against the CONCACAF team.

From the announced lineups it looks like it wasn't s-thousing from Costa Rica, they've put in some backups. Berhalter going for the kill though, Pulisic, Weah, Musah, Adams, Pepi all in the lineup.

Pulisic doesn't surprise me, he was on the field in Couva and has taken hard, he'd have to be dead or dying to be off the field with a World Cup spot on the line.

Goalkeeper for Costa Rica Keylor Navas is the best player in CONCACAF zero debate, and yes I know Pulisic and Davies exist.

Real Madrid
PSG
3 Champions League titles
4 Club World Cups
La Liga and Ligue 1 titles
2 World Cup appearances (Quarterfinals in 2014)

There's a reason Costa Rica is still alive and he's a big part of it.

Panama leading Canada 1-0
Mexico up 2-0 on El Salvador
Jamaica up 2-1 over Honduras (though that match has zero implications)
