Denmark's NT has decided to boycott today's friendly in Slovakia due to a conflict with the FA. Instead, Denmark is fielding a bunch of happy amateurs, coached by 1992 Euro Champ John 'Faxe' Jensen.

@FootyHumour: Evangelos Marinakis (who owns both Nottingham Forest and Olympiacos) wanted to sign Olympiacos midfielder Tachtsidis for Forest but ran out of time in the transfer window...
So instead he terminated Tachtsidis' contract at Olympiacos and signed him on a free for Forest!

Seattle probably should've clobbered us, but they couldn't finish and Frei made one really boneheaded mistake. That said... On another note, on July 4th the Seattle Sounders had 12 points and were tied for last with San Jose.
Seattle finished 2nd in the West with 59 points.
