When the Americans win they get lots of breaks (own goals, weird deflections, unbelievable goalkeeping). When they lose or get a draw, they get royally screwed by the referee.

Like i said...regardless of what we had in our minds before the game. You HAVE to be happy if the tie stands with the course of the game.

I'm happy that we're still alive. And go Algeria! :)

But playing 45 minutes of a 90 minute match and drawing to Slovenia is a disappointment overall, regardless of the comeback (and even regardless of getting completely screwed out of a winning 3rd goal)

One US player was fouling a Slovenian player. It looks like Bocanegra. The ref refuses to look at 1) the foul had nothing to do with the play 2) About 6 USA players were being fouled there.

i noticed that too. slovenia has been very beeotchy on all the free kicks

America won 1-1. :p Against England we were aided by atrocious goaltending.

And the rest of the world is at least a billion behind China. So why doesn't China have about 6 World Cups in a row? :confused:

They are too busy focusing on finding ways to gets their 12-year-old girl gymnasts into the Olympics under the legal age.
