World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

I don't suppose there's really much chance Wigan are going to spoil Chelsea's season, is there?

In favor of who?

Chelski is the lesser of 3 evils (lets be honest Liverpool is never a real contender).

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

I disagree.

In the entirety of the Prem League's existence, Liverpool has two second place finishes to their name. They were 7 points back in 01-02 and 4 points back last year.

Despite only a handful of finishes out of the top 4, there's really nothing to indicate that they are annual title contenders.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Thanks for not showing up Liverpool. I guess you guys did lay down so United wouldn't win the title. Now we have to depend on Wigan. Fat chance of that happening. I guess I'll be losing that wager I made with the board. Way to go, Reds. NOT!!

I was disagreeing with JF's contention that Chelsea is a lesser evil than Manchester United.

Um...it's May...I think you can lose the scarf :p

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

You lost to Blackburn? Really Arsenal?

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

I disagree with the foul called on King's would have been goal.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

So, uh, Stoke? You know how Fulham have this match next Wednesday that you may have heard about? We'd like to have our guys healthy for that, so could you please stop hacking them?

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

HA, what a joke. Stoke hack Fulham players all night, get away with everything, and then get a ridiculously fluky goal after basically not having the ball all match long. Fulhamish.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Congrats on a big win, Spurs. Hope you're not counting on Fulham taking 3 points at the Emirates on Sunday to help vault you into third, because that's not happening.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Motherwell and Hibs evidently played a heck of a game tonight in Scotland. 6-6 when all was said and done.
