World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Obvious handball by Barca but ref and linesman miss it and a miraculous block is the only reason it's not all over as Zlatan's strike is right into the defender.

Now apparently if you have your arms out to shield the ball its a foul on Inter!

Hahahahaha. This is a shady reffing performance.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Now he gives a yellow to the guy who dared to tackle Messi.

While Barca continues to play on without the spirit of fair play, while Sneijder is down injured. :D

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

I'm only listening online, didn't see the incident.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Actually correction, even before he was sent off he had gotten a straight red (he had gotten a yellow earlier in the match.)

That is the worst red card in Champions League history.

Didn't you just say that YESTERDAY?

I mean, seriously. You're the boy who cried wolf. It doesn't even mean anything anymore when you say a ref made a bad decision because it happens like four times a day.

No, I didn't. You're the boy who complains all the time, if you don't realize this whole bit is to make fun of you for being a hypocritical person then I don't know what to tell you.

:)

Wah wah wah, the ref is out to get Barca. Oh wait, he isn't and you're completely full of it.

Yes, I'm the one who complains about officiating all the time. Sure. Whatever you say. I was complaining during yesterday's match, for instance.

Oh, no, that was you.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Man, Inter defend really well. Gotta hand it to them.

Edit: Bojan coming on for Ibrahimovic, Jeffren on for Busquets. Barca radio commentator: "They're going with kids." How much has Henry slowed down? He's barely been involved lately.

This is pretty unfun to watch. Inter is piling 8 guys back in their own box to defend. Yawn.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Barcelona radio guys saying maybe Pique is the best center back in the world. I don't buy it.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

~15 minutes left. Inter have "parked the bus" so to speak, and I can't really blame them. Barca miss Iniesta badly.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

One of the props for this ref is he is unerringly consistent on fouls committed in the penalty area while waiting for corners.

He hates even a little pushing and calls it every time.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Oh Bojan, that was a free header.

And Pique scores. He looks miles offside but I'm waiting for the replay.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

Its a tight decision, either way. The linesman was also not looking at Eto'o so maybe he just missed it.

Re: World Soccer XII: South Africa Awaits

"Everybody looking to Gerard Pique as the main attacking option." That's a sentence I didn't expect to hear today.
