Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2025-2026

Jones' white stick is a beauty.
And it scores goals too!

It bothers me that the team called themselves the "B" team while the others were in Italy. It's probably in jest, but I don't want any friction in the locker-room. There is some serious work to be done yet. At least the B's got some metal of their own Sunday. There's some serious team re-focusing that must occur now.

Stewart showed she has the goods in net. I didn't see any unfortunate goals against her. I wonder if she will get more starts next season with her proven abilities. Obviously it will be the Ava M show next season. I'm super stoked with Swarthout in the pipeline.

I'm amazed at how many first timers are attending the games with them being sold out. We've sat in the same spot the last 3 games and the people around us are never the same people and are clearly not hockey aficionados. There must be healthy aftermarket sales.

*Wednesday March 4th I think.
What exactly did the email offer?

The ticket office told me I had unsubscribed from their emails - most likely, because they were spamming me with desperate pleas to buy football tickets.

When I called, they wanted to charge me $120 but couldn’t tell me for what games, what dates, really anything. All they said what that they’d take my credit card information and charge me an unspecified something if my request is approved.

How many tickets were you asking for - When I clicked the link (but didn't actually complete a transaction) - It showed $23.50/ticket - It appears only to be for the Regional Championship (so not the playoff games earlier in the week) - Says those tickets would go on sale March 9th if Wisconsin hosts. - (Making sure Wisco doesn't fall to 4 or 5 and no early game I suppose)

The page does make it pretty clear that they wouldn't charge anything until Wisconsin has been selected to host and the request is granted. - also shows a $3.5 fee.

Quoting from the email:

REQUEST YOUR NCAA TOURNAMENT TICKETS
As a women's hockey season ticket holder, you receive exclusive access to request tickets for the NCAA Regional, should Wisconsin host.
Request will be accepted starting today through Wednesday, March 4 at 4 p.m.

---------------------------

Previous years, the 'other' game has either been free, or included in the cost of the Saturday ticket (I don't specifically recall, though I attended them.) That game - #8 vs #9, or #7 vs #10 - will be Thursday night, with UW playing the winner on Saturday, the confirmation email says 1 PM. All seats for the NCAA quarterfinal games are reserves/assigned seating. Cost is $23.50 per ticket; I don't know if there will be any fees in addition; as you said, credit card has not been charged yet.
