For some reason, I thought hockey was like football and a redshirt was still possible if a player had played in up to four games. If this would be her fourth game, she'd be okay under that rule. And that rule may not apply to hockey anyway. I should have researched before posting!

That exemption only applies to football (and weirdly, wrestling) per 12.8.3 of the NCAA Regulations Manual. There has been a lot of talk of it extending to all sports (Kelly Sheffield has referred to it being adopted for volleyball) but those regulations haven't been adopted yet.
 
My 'creative' lineup suggestion for today and at Bemidji is Venusio at forward, so the poor girl can finally get a goal.

Zilisch and Bickett listed as the third D pairing, although I'd be surprised if they were sent out together all that often.

There's a part of the warm-up when four of the D players stand in a rectangle, and make diagonal passes to one another and to skating forwards.

Leila was one of the four...

Murphy gave thumbs up to the fans behind the UW bench. There's a good sign. Potter in a sling not so much. Bickett is dressed today. It'll be interesting how much ice time her and zillich get.

There was a stretch during the fall when the brats at LaBahn and the Field House were something other than normal Johnsonvilles, and they better. Better texture, spice, etc. And then it went back to normal Johnsonville. I wish I knew what they were.

Did not scream Johnsonville in my mouth. Didn't seem overly seasoned either.

Badgers not as sharp in transition passing today. Seemed to improve as they got going.

After the unsportsmanlike penalty Ludwig and Frosty were nose to nose yelling at each other right in front of me. That was wild!!! They went on and on. I'm shocked Ludwig didn't give him a bench minor unsportsmanlike.

Knowing Ludwig, I would be surprised if he wasn't also crossing some verbal lines so it's probably better that he just decided to let everyone yell for a bit.
 
After the game MJ kept trying to talk to Ludwig as handshakes were going on. He kept pointing into the corner where Enright got the checking from behind penalty. Eventually they did talk.
 
What are crazy second period. On missed penalty shot, a four on four goal, a 4 on 3 goal, a 5 on 4 goal and a shorty.

Sure looked like the call that prompted Laila to take the law into her own hands was certainly a 2 minute if not 5 minute against Murphy. I've never seen taking a penalty turn a game around like that.
 
My husband and I were "season ticket holders of the game" today. Pretty cool being on the jumbotron! I wish they had pronounced our surname correctly, but that's a small thing
Murphy's unsportsmanship penalty occurred at the far end from us. I'm wondering if she did something? Or said something?
And do tell what Ludwig and Frosty were arguing about. It certainly was animated.
