Wisconsin Women's Hockey 2024-2025

Ironically I was just thinking today that Mark Johnson hasn't done any mad scientists line shuffles yet this year.
 
And enright got a shot on three and three wow. In the end that's how you play three on three baby. Way better than last week.
 
Seems to me that Ava's being beaten by high tips lately. Another interesting thing is that I think it was the St Thomas announcers kept saying they were shooting high on her. Of course if you're playing good defense in front of her you're going to tie that player up who's tipping it and not allow them to make contact.
 
Seems like defense isn't the concern right now but the offense that has been missing the last two games. Two goals on 40 plus shots last night.

I just threw up in my mouth.

I don't think anyone should panic with the scoring. I'm more of a stay the course person. Win the the face-off war, don't pass the puck to the opposing players and tie up/clear out players in front of our net and everything will be fine.

If you are playing the numbers game then you don't want the Gophers to get any more points. Sometime you have to take one for the team. 🤮
 
Minnesota loss means - in baseball terms - the Badgers "magic number" is two. Any combination of two Badger wins or two Minn losses, and Wisconsin clinches the regular season.

And today CAN STILL be one of those two!!

Geez, Wisconsin, LFG already!

So now we can parse it a little closer.

Wisconsin has 65 standings points. Minn has 48, with six games to play. If Minn wins all six, they'd get to 66 standings point.

So any two standings points for UW wins the regular season championship. Or any two points lost by Minn.
