Nice article as per usual Andy. You should be paid for this quality of work!
Thanks.

1999-born Brock Caufield (Stevens Point) committed to Ohio State today. I know someone had asked me about him earlier in this thread. I know UW had some interest in him but I don't think it progressed to an offer. He's got some skills and I don't doubt he'll be a Division I player some day. I would not have made an offer at this point if I were the UW staff.
Sounds like Boeser was in Grand Forks last night.
They probably all put their teeth in and everything...
It's not really the Badgers I'm worried about, we'll be fine. It's Boeser, himself. Imagine going through life associated with Maroon or No Name Green... Oh! The Humanity!
Not to mention becoming the most hated player in college hockey. When he could, in turn, be the most loved player in the country by simply donning Cardinal, recognized throughout the land as a color with class!
He's coming in Saturday I believe. Maybe DC can whip up a few cheers, etc. We really have a moral responsibility to do what we can to save this young man from making a terrible, rash, life-destroying decision...
Wisconsin received a commitment from Grant Cruikshank today. Milwaukee Jr. Admirals U16 forward. Son of Olympic speed skaters Dave Cruikshank and Bonnie Blair.

What's the scouting report? Blue Chippah?

I heard we won't have to worry about icing the puck anymore because he's capable of just going and getting it before it crosses the endline.
Wonder if the Badgers bring in Tischke?
I'd rather the spot drops a class but we could be up against it if Jack D makes the Junior team... Maybe Navin could switch over in a pinch?
Tischke is not coming in, but the staff does have a replacement for Ford coming in at the semester break. I'll pass it along when I know it's a done deal. USHL d-man that will walk-on.
Well, it's one thing to be a "school guy," but a whole other thing to be a 1-10-1 "school guy." Everyone has limits.Interesting that in Boeser's interview on Pipeline he implied that academics and the campus would play a big part in his decision as he is a "school guy".
And then proceeded to list beyond #400 world-ranked UND alongside top 30 UW.
(And top 50 MN, of course. Being away from home, he's obviously forgotten how awful the average gofer is.)

True enough, but he de-committed right after Bucky played pretty well against Sue and we all still had hope. Goofy probably fits for him, but based only on what he said, UND would seem much less so on the surface.
To be fair he sounded pretty uncomfortable talking about any of it, which is only natural I suppose.
