Wisconsin Recruiting V - Does it even matter?

Brady Cleveland has committed on the first day Jr's can commit, a D from Wausau. He will be in the USDP program this upcoming season.
 
Tanner Walos commits, a F from Hartland. Must be another Jr commitment. Will play for the Fargo Force the upcoming season. Put up 60 pts in 48 games last season for the Jr. Admirals.

I would think he could be a '23-'24 or '24-'25.

At least they have some juice. In actuality quite a few of TG's signings have been very dry.

I cannot recall the last time the UW men ended up with a player from Shattuck. Of course MJ is getting Shattuck players whenever he wants LOL. Obviously the competition in 70% less on the women's side and he IS Mark Johnson.

Anyone have a remembrance of the last time UW got a Shattuck player? It could be a neat little pipeline.

Inamoto was a Shattuck kid before going to the NTDP. Before that, the last one I can think of is maybe Jason Clark? Carson Bantle was a Shuttuck player but I guess that doesn't really count here.

The '10 team of course had Stepan, Grotting, and Jordy Murray, but you're right that it's been pretty few and far between since. Probably not getting any steering anymore either as most of the staff has connections to MN, UMD, MnSt, NMU, and the U18 HC, Teddy Doherty, was a BC player. Derek, Ben, and Jordy all played for Murray Eaves as bantams there, I think.

Wisko McB! Great to hear from you. Thanks for the info I was seeking. Honestly there were more than I would have thought. When they get into the USHL or the US program I loose track of their history.

Jamie McBain also played at Shattuck. Go back one more year to the '08 - '09 team and all four were playing for Bucky.
