Wisconsin Recruiting V - Does it even matter?

It could also be updated to reflect the 20-21 roster and show the insane amount of forward recruits lined up for 21-22, a season in which everyone currently on the roster can come back an extra season if they want.

Is the school REQUIRED to give them the extra year or do they have to option to say "no thanks" on giving all the players an extra year?

Forward Sawyer Scholl has committed to UW for the fall of 2022. Currently with the Gamblers after HS @ Medford and GB Notre Dame.

I'm going to hold off on making massive changes to the spreadsheet until we really know what next year will look like.

I have removed Josh Bohlin and added Sawyer Scholl though.

As an update, the spreadsheet won't be updated as quickly right now as I have pretty much stopped using Twitter and Facebook, so unless I see something here or happen across an article on a local news source things will be changed a bit more slowly. I hope that isn't an issue for everyone. Thanks.

I will always be posting what I see on the Tweeter, I will keep you updated, especially with the Ladies, info is hard to come by for the women's team. Thanks again for your work, the spreadsheet is gold Jerry, GOLD!

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve posted, but I think everyone can agree that your spreadsheet is top notch. Just a heads up, I did notice that Shawn Ramsey is currently omitted from the spreadsheet. Other than that, excellent job.

Thanks for the heads up on Ramsey. I've added him to '23-'24.

And thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it.

Edit: Wow, it had been a long time since I updated the sheet. The roster for this season should now be accurate. I've also updated the potential future forwards and defensemen for the players that were moved from this year to next.

So how do I access the spreadsheet?

I have it at the bottom of my posts as does gwhinwi, but from tapatalk or your "dumb" phone, you can't see it. This new forum sucks.....

I also realize that I can't see it in Firefox, but can see it on other browsers. 4-5-6...

I wonder if there is an ad-blocker issue that's breaking it.

Anywho... I have updated the Spreadsheet with the NLI updates (and resorted them so that the players that signed NLI's are at the top of each year.)

Not sure if I’ve missed any decommits between Messners transfer and Bohlin going to Army.

I looked at every player (who hasn't signed an NLI) on Elite Prospects and all of them still list the UW as their school for next year. I didn't look at any players that might be enrolling beyond '21 though.

Confirmed what we already had on the spreadsheet. I'll work on moving some of the additional players around.

Thanks for sharing. Granato "positive" comment on goalie recruit Noah Grannon:

Granato on Grannan
"He's big and calm, and like all goalies just needs time. He looks the part. He has a chance because of his size and his athleticism. When he is on he doesn't give up rebounds and tracks the puck really well. And being a Milwaukee-area native, his addition is big for the program."
