Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVIII: This could be a banner year, but how would we know?
So how often do you fill it or how many do you average?

Different sources have different numbers. I've seen 15,237 and 15,325 as well. No matter which one it is I'm ready to see A LOT of white tonight.
I'm on my phone right now (women's hockey game intermission), so I won't look it up now, but somewhere on the facilities section of UWBadgers.com, there are more specific figures. There's a 13xxx figure and a 15xxx figure with obstructed views included. It'll be over 14k tonight.
Did the $11 White Out promotion have an expiration date? The remaining 3rd deck seats are at full price.
You have to enter the promo code "WHITE"

It appeared to me on the replay that the initial shot glanced off the post and then went parallel to the goal line until it made contact with Frey. What happened to the puck after that, who knows. I wouldn't be surprised if had really crossed the line under there but there was no way to see it. They never showed the overhead angle, but it wouldn't have helped.I wish they could have seen a better show on the ice. After the Buckeyes took the lead, it turned into one of those games where I just felt like they'd never score. I'd like to see that non-goal again. Whatever happened, Frey was smart to drag his leg out of the goal before getting up. I have not seen any replays, but in other games in which the puck is likely in the net but not visible, they rarely overturn it, even if you can use hard logic and geometry to determine that the entire puck was over the line. I don't know if that was the case here, as I haven't seen a replay.
I know the Badgers had a bit of a shooting gallery early on, but the Buckeyes seemed to play better defensively, which led to that feeling of not being able to score I mentioned.
Those pom-poms are magical. While they do make it easier to see what people across the arena are doing, I'm certain that a larger than usual portion of the old people were getting involved. This was especially apparent during the opposing team's introductions. It was visually stunning, with waves of white moving rhythmically in the dark.
Solid sentenceThose pom-poms are magical.
The replays showed the puck going straight across the crease towards the far post not crossing the goal line, at least that's what you could see until Frey's pad went on top of it. The only angle they didn't show on TV was the overhead goal cam. But since it was ruled a no goal and the puck was not to be seen under the pad there was nothing to go on to overrule.I wish they could have seen a better show on the ice. Whether it was pulled across under his pad who knows?
I thought you guys controlled the boards and dominated in our defensive zone. We could have allowed you to score many times but that's hockey.

The thing about Frey is he's a freshman who came to our program this semester to fill an unexpected void in our goaltenders. He first played on Dec. 28th and last night was only his 4th start since coming on board last month.Frey was a rebound producing machine, it's too bad they could not capitalize.
