Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

Which ones of the 12 people there are the USCHO folks?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

Not quite the bounce back effort we were looking for so far...

1 lucky bounce and 2 sugar soft goals in an empty building. UW has no jump at all. 4th line is the best line so far.

What in the **** in the world?

On my 3rd margarita. **** this.

Anyone still think Rumpel and Peterson are interchangeable?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

He wasn't last year either. Rumpel was clearly #1.

Yeah, I agree.

UW just can't get cleanly out of the zone, they look terrible. The 3rd line had the best pressure and had some great chances but just couldn't finish.

We're still gonna win this.

Book it.

Are the ****ing banners at least up?

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

I like Soleway a lot, a very physcial hitter and his shots are hitting the net from any angle, like Mersch's do.

"@BadgerMHockey: Tonight's attendance is 7,022! Way to show #BadgerPride!"

Come on, Paul.

Re: Wisconsin Hockey Vol. XXVI: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Tolerate The BTHC

Fixed!

I blame myself for tonight as I was absent for the first period.

Don't blame yourself. You would have needed to be there in the first frickin 5 minutes.

Horrible start, decent recovery - and I say decent as it shouldn't have ever gotten that far.

How the heck do you give up 16 goals in one weekend and then give up 3 in the next 5 minutes that you play?

This team better wake the f up.

Come on, Paul.

I chuckled at that. It's pretty sad, though. At least there was energy throughout the game (though how that feels in the more sparse sections must be different than the middle of the student section).

If the Badgers didn't start the game in an unconscious state, things would have been far different. They had trouble finishing for most of the game (I told those around me that they had lots of "almost good plays"), but they were right there in the game with LSSU...they just started with a 3-0 deficit. It seemed like there was some sloppiness in recieving the puck.

One of the comments...

"Good sections still available at the KC."

That's actually pretty funny. :D

And sad at the same time. :(

And just think...less than a year and 9 months ago, a Badger team that was mathematically eliminated from everything, barring a run through the Final Five, played in a packed Kohl Center (even the obstructed views were full). I'm shocked that this kind of difference can happen in a span of 2 years. I hope the athletic department has it in them to try and approach this as if they are building a program from the ground up...then throwing in all the great stuff we already have. Basically, do the opposite of take the old photos and videos for granted. I'm doing all I can.
