Wisconsin Hockey 24-25 Improving With All Due Haste.

Agreed. These are shots that McClellan would stop.

Or..well…Gramme, who should be the starter based on his performances last year. Bringing in a goalie from a league that doesn’t have big time snipers is a recipe for disaster. No offense to Scarfone but I just don’t see why he starts over Gramme.

On a positive note…Hensler looks like David Tanabe out there or possibly Brendan Smith. Very good already, maybe the 2nd best player on the team.

Gramme must be on Hastings' list as they go with Scarfone again tonight.

Nice home cooking in that last sequence. Fitzgerald hooked down in the d zone no call. 30 seconds later Wisconsin gets penalized.

After an abysmal start to Friday's game, it felt like Fitzgerald played his best game of the season last night. He, Tassy and Laskosky are in the early stages of looking like a solid 2nd line and we need that desperately. It's so important to not be a one line team.

Passing tape to tape is so fundamental to creating goals. Just look at these goals:

That chance happens because Laatsch leads Knox with the pass in the d-zone, Knox bounces the puck off the boards where Kukkonen can catch it and move in stride not allowing the dman to hold at the blue line, and Kukkonen leads Lindmark with a perfect pass between two Notre Dame players where Lindmark can catch AND shoot the puck instantly.

Dexheimer has two passes to Fitzgerald where he can catch and release it quickly. One goes off the post and the second is a beautiful pass to Tassy's stick on the back door for an easy tap in.

This week: Minnesota Fri 11/8 7 pm (BTN+), Sat 11/9 6 pm (BTN+)

Next week: at Penn State Fri 11/15 Time TBD (BTN / BTN+?), Sat 11/16 Time TBD (BTN / BTN+?)

An OT loss and win stop the bleeding, but still shooting at a terrible percentage. Big week this week and need to win the series versus Minnesota. Tough ask, but there was improvement this past weekend and if they can take another step next weekend, maybe they can do it.

Right now, the game is only listed on BTN+, and not on BTN.

Confirmed on BTN+. So, the border battle can't get on regular BTN. What a joke. I have BTN+ for this reason, although I will be attending in this case, but you really need it if you want to see hockey play live.

BTN+ is a must for me as I'm an out of state Badger. If I lived in the area and had tickets for this series as part of a package I'd definitely go. Buying a single night might be a different story for fear of what might happen. I have no doubt the chokers are getting more than 2 goals, and I don't need to elaborate on our scoring prowess. It's easier to flip my lid and drink at home while watching on TV instead of becoming a spectacle at the venue.

It's reality that to see what you want to, you have to subscribe to things like BTN+. I used to bitch about it, but I can see every UW women's away game and any men's game I want to, so it's really awesome to be able to do that and not just be chained to a the whims of programmers.

Let's go RED!
