Wisconsin Hockey 24-25 Improving With All Due Haste.

I also keep getting emails to upgrade my seats to the new seating along the boards. I did talk to a rep from the AD, and it is costly. Apparently, they aren't selling them all for the low price of $1,750 / seat / year.

Is that all? I'll take 4 for sure, I thought they'd be a lot more than that.

This weekend is a sure test. I have 1000% confidence in the coaches. They should come back with Scarfone. I was a little surprised Castro didn't get the nod for game 2, he's a very seasoned player. I'm just not sure what to think of Gramme yet with his background, but his body of work is piling up on the plus side for sure.

Well, you get food and drink (non-alcoholic) for that price at least.

Cautiously optimistic we will see big improvements this weekend. Excited for week 2!

We need to give OSU 2 losses to start the Big7 games!

No reason not to be optimistic. I sprang $90 for the year long BTN+ subscription so I'll be able to watch all the games from here on out for both the men and women. The women get to crack rodent skulls this weekend. Let's go RED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lindmark has been very disappointing thus far. He and Hensler screwed up the coverage on the OT goal. One is a freshman, one is in his sixth year.

3v3 is technically man to man defense, but I think Hensler screwed it up twice. One for getting burned for a partial breakaway and another for not going to protect the middle ice after Lindmark covered for him on his inital screwup. I can't blame Lindmark for sliding over. What's he supposed to do, just let that guy walk in on a breakaway?

Both badgers ending up behind the net as OSU scores is an absolute joke though. I'm sure Hastings is pissed at that. Defense first guy and all.

Was out of town last weekend, so last night was my first look this season and we were in attendance.

The new rink dimensions are an adjustment - looks so narrow after 30 years (?) of seeing the bigger sheet. Will be nice for the sight lines in the 300s (at least on the sides... ends will still suck) when there are large crowds.

The tighter confines certainly played into OSU's hands in that mired-in-mud first period.

From then on, it should have been a 4-1 victory based on chances.

UW is light years ahead of OSU in terms of skill, creativity and talent. Just didn't find a way to finish and their goalie played pretty well and stole that game.

That's hockey.

We'll improve once these guys figure out how to finish.

I thought Finley was very noticeable and making plays all over the place.

Did Tassy play? Didn't notice him at all.

Agreed completely.

Their passing was much better than last weekend and that created better opportunities to score. It was nice to see chemistry starting to develop too.

Need to win tonight. In regulation and they win the series in terms of league points.

You can't justify that statement when you lose. How do you explain four losses to us last season with all your "talent"?
Right now Ohio State has a five game win streak going over the Badgers with the last three on your home ice. That's OUR statement!

I've watched every game this year. I have yet to see anything like an abundance of skill, creativity, or talent. First period over tonight and they give up one in the first 20 seconds and trail 1-0 after 1 period.

They need a whole week dedicated to shooting the puck where the goaltender is not.

Also, better passes = quicker shots = better chance to catch the goalie off his angle.

Taking 3 seconds to wind the shot up gives them time to block it and the goalie to get into position.
