I think its only a matter of time before the NHL comes a calling for Hastings. I'm not sure if him selling "the dailies" will translate to the NHL but he's going to get interest. This resurrection will turn a lot of heads. I don't think Oliver will be here long.

I think Hastings is an NCAA guy through and through. Also, He saw what happened to Dean Blais and others from NCAA who tried to make that jump.

Hakstol is doing just fine in Seattle. You guys doubled Hastings's salary to bring him from Mankato to Madison. I'm sure that if the NHL comes calling, they'll at least double his salary again.

I pretty sure him leaving Kato was not about the money and if he ever leaves Wisconsin for the NHL, it won't be about money then either.

Lol...this thread about Hastings leaving for the NHL. Lane Kiffin does not coach the Badger hockey team.

Halfway through 1st season and this is a thread? I heard Red Berenson is taking the Red Wings job. Hell, let's dig Badger Bob up....he can guide the Blue Jackets to a few wins!

Nobody can just be happy in the moment. FFS

Also, the "article" on CHN about the Big 10 being 10 years old...is absolute trash. There quite literally is no substance to it. And then randomly at the end, the "writer" goes into length of games. W in the actual F does that have to do with the Big 10? Much less accessability. Bejesus Im hot today!

Trash except the hard truth of no national titles.....only 3 times in 9 years been in the championship game.

The hard truth....i mean, there was such hate directed at the Big10 when it formed that it was kinda a foregone conclusion that the media and old curmudgeons would say "if youre not winning 1 of 2 titles each year, youre a failure.

While at the same time Notre Dame tucks its tail bc they cant stomach travel costs to be in Hockey East.
 
I was there, my friends...made friends with the ushers, quaffed a few beers and even took in the soghts of the best 2 tenders in the nation. In truth, Badgers should have won 2-0 but that blue liner lapse on the shorty made the game interesting. Those mistakes cant happen.

Outstanding effort considering we were down that many folks. 15-4. Wow! I'll get back at it and cheer again at Compton after I guzzle down some more fuel acorss the street at the pub. Cheers!
