They checked my account and saw I ordered 7, so we had to wait a few minutes, then they gave me my other 4 and we were on our way. The guy right behind me also had his ordered screwed up too. Luckily we got there early so we didn't miss anything. For an event like this they realy need 2 willcall windows. The line was majorly backed up just after we got through. Also when I ordered the 3 extra, they had issues running my credit card. When I hung up with them it was ok, then they called later and said it didn't go through, but then it did. Not the finest moment for the UW ticket office.

Buying tickets or picking up tickets at LaBahn right before a game is always a little dicey. I went down to the ticket office earlier in the week to pick up my pre-ordered tickets. Was nice to cut through the lines and get right in the arena. Felt bad for those waiting in line. I'm guessing more than a few people missed the opening face-off because of it.

I WAY prefer print at home, but I was told over the phone they could not be that way, but I did see print at home tickets in peoples' hands, so another strike against the ticket office. Plus, I called @ 8:35 Monday, just after they opened, but the call dumped into a general message of the ticket office hours and that was it. It did that till 11:30. The gal I talked to said they were short staffed and with people buying tickets at the window meant they had to ignore the phones, nice, eh? Another strike. Then it also sucked that that since I don't contribute to the Badger Fund (but I am a season ticket holder), I did not get access to where I wanted to sit, those seats went to the big money people. Last year that was not the case, I called early Monday AM and picked exactly where I wanted to sit and got it. Oh well.

Now let's bludgeon some rodentettes Friday. Let's go RED!

Does anyone know if there will be any UW fan events or official restaurant/bar headquarters in Minneapolis for Badger fans?

I didn't expect television, but is there no radio broadcast of Friday's game? The Athletic Dept's website doesn't list any.

Sometimes you can match them by stopping one and then starting it up to match the other. I've succeeded with it well in the past, but it is a bit high risk and can get a little messy.

Be good for you guys if Madison Packer came up. When I've heard her she seems a pretty good addition.

Also a great article posted on the UW Womens Hockey website about the Badger Freshman line of Pankowski, Clark and Wellhausen! Great read Badger fans.. Very excited about not only tomorrow but, the next 3 years as well with these three players as part of the future!!

Great day for hockey, indeed. This is the most anxious/nervous/excited I've been for a Badger hockey game since the 2012 final in Duluth. Hopefully, there will be a different outcome.

Read that Channell practiced this week, so we should be relatively full strength. Need all hands on deck to knock off the Gophers.

Badger clearly outplay the Gophers in the first period, but score tied at 0. As always, the Gopher defense really plays well in front out their own goal.

Honestly, the NCAA should be embarrassed by their video production. Don't start the audio until right before face-off, an announcer who is struggling with names, no color analyst and a video that has gone out of focus at least a half of dozen times. Seriously, have some pride...

Hopefully, the Badgers can keep up the pace and light the lamp. I like what I see so far.

And now I have to listen to Norwood Teague go on talking which amounts to a commercial for University of Minnesota athletics. Does Wisconsin get equal time in the second intermission?

I have no sound with the laptop hooked to the tv, I have the wrong cord. I don't really need play by play, though I might see how synced the radio is to the tv.

I agree. UM had a great chance on a longer backdoor shot that sailed wide late in the period, there sure was a lot of net she missed there.

I hope so but probably not since they are hosting. UW needs to host this puppy.....
